Camping Sarajevo
A small, family-run campsite at the foot of Igman by the Zujevina river — peaceful, spotless, and a short walk from the train into Sarajevo.
Run since 2016 by hosts Alma and Senad, Camping Sarajevo is the quiet, friendly antidote to a big resort site — a tidy, green plot on the western edge of the city at the foot of Mount Igman, beside the Zujevina river. Expect a modern, spotless shower block, a covered terrace, a washing machine and easy water and waste hook-ups, plus owners who speak English and German and know the area inside out. It's a calm base for a camper or van, with the Olympic mountains, Vrelo Bosne and Ilidža all close by.
The nearby train station — a few minutes' walk away — means you can leave the vehicle and ride into the centre, skipping the city driving and parking.
