Skenderija Centre
A 1969 sports-and-culture complex by the Miljacka — ice rink, sports halls, concerts, fairs and a warren of shops, right by the centre.
Opened in 1969 and a fixture of Sarajevo life, the Skenderija centre packs sports halls, an ice rink, concert and exhibition spaces and a basement of shops into one big complex on the bank of the Miljacka. It hosted 1984 Olympic events and still hums with matches, gigs, fairs and markets.
