Camping Plivsko jezero (Pliva Lakes)
A big lakeside campground on the turquoise Pliva Lakes outside Jajce — swimming, canoeing and fishing among the wooden watermills.
Spread along the shore of the Pliva Lakes a few kilometres from Jajce, this is one of the country's largest and best-loved campsites — green, watery and made for an active, slow holiday. Days are for swimming in the clear lakes, paddling a canoe, casting for fish or cycling the shore, with the famous little wooden watermills (mlinčići) just along the bank. Open through the warm half of the year.
Why go
- On the shore of the Pliva Lakes, ~5 km from Jajce
- Swimming, canoeing and sport fishing
- Open mid-April to mid-October
- Steps from the photogenic Pliva watermills
Camp here to have the lakes and the little watermills to yourself at dawn, long before the Jajce day-trippers arrive for the waterfall.
