International Folklore Festivals (summer)

Through the summer, towns across the country host folklore festivals — costumed dance troupes, traditional music and crafts from BiH and visiting countries fill main squares.

Why: traditional dance and dress; free street culture; great with kids.

Tip: catch a kolo (circle dance) performance — audiences are often invited to join.
